1. Banh Bao Banh Vac - White Rose

White Rose, locally known as Banh Bao Banh Vac,  is actually dumplings with a poetic name. The dish is called "white rose" because the dumplings are small, pretty, white colored and shaped what roughly looks like a rose. White Rose looks simple but the process of making it is not as easy as it looks. It is made from translucent white dough which is filled with spiced minced shrimp or pork. Topped with crispy fried shallots and dipped in special sauce made from shrimp broth, hot chilies, lemon, and sugar.

2. Wontons

Fried wontons aka “Hoi An pizza”, is the dish that you definitely must try when visiting the ancient town of Hoi An.. They’re large tortilla-shaped wontons topped with shrimp, vegetables, herbs, and a tomato sauce. The wontons are crisp but very light and the sauce tomatoe-y, tangy, and a little sweet.

3. Chicken Rice (Com Ga Hoi An)

Chicken rice is the dish that you definitely must try when visiting the ancient town of Hoi An. The perfect dish of chicken rice has a good combination of yellow colored rice, white shredded chicken, and green vegetables. The rice is cooked according to a special recipe, making it not only soft, fragrant but also greasy. The tender shredded chicken is tossed with Vietnamese spices such as coriander, onions, pepper, chili, laksa leaves, and lime juice to create a special taste. In the old town, it is very easy to find the place for trying local chicken rice, as there are many restaurants ready to serve visitors.

4. Hoi An Noodles (Cao Lau)

Referring to Hoi An cuisine, Cao Lau is certainly always the top name on the list.A typical Cao Lau bowl has soft, thick yellow noodles served with slices of barbecue pork, pork crackling, bean sprouts, lettuce, and slightly roasted peanuts and sprinkled with little sauce on top to keep the flavor. When eating this Hoi An dish, you will feel the texture of Cao Lau with mix of spices.You can try Cao Lau in many cities around Vietnam, but if you want to get the most authentic taste of this Hoi An delicacy, try it at Hoi An Ancient Town.

Breakfast at the hotel , check out and back to Danang.Visit: Son Tra peninsula , Linh Ung pagoda, this is also a place where you can see the whole of Da Nang, My Khe beach.

Must-try dishes in Danang:

1. Pancakes ( Banh xeo)

Danang Pancake is a small, yellow-scented pancake with whole shrimps, thinly sliced pork and bean sprouts. Danang Pancake has a very unique flavor, unlike other places, especially because of the sauce.

It is made from rice flour, water, turmeric powder, stuffed with slivers of fatty pork, shrimp, diced green onion, and bean sprouts. It’s great food for a cool or rainy afternoon!

2. Bun thit nuong

Bun Thit Nuong is a famous dish throughout Vietnam, but each province has their own style. Bun thit nuong is a combination of rice vermicelli, grilled pork, fresh vegetables and other special ingredients. The sauce made by grinded peanut. You can enjoy it with a little chili sauce and lemon squash then mix all of them together.

3. Banh mi

Vietnam has Banh Mi in literally every city, but each place has its own unique taste.  The filling is different everywhere, but normally it will consist of those basics toppings: pate, mayonnaise, ham, meats (pork, chicken, or beef), fried eggs, basil, cilantro, scallions, pickled carrot, and sprinkled with salt, pepper, and chili sauce.

4. Che

Che istraditional Vietnamese sweet dessert soup or pudding. Varieties of  Chè are made with mung beans, black-eyed peas, kidney beans, tapioca, jelly (clear or grass), fruit (longan,mango, durian, lychee or jackfruit), and coconut cream. It’s great snack food to escape the heat of the bustle city in a hot day.

5. Quang Noodle (Mi Quang)

My quang or Quang noodle is made from rice flour and cut into long-line pieces. The broth can be made from chicken, shrimp, crab, fish, pork or beef bone.Therefore you can order many versions of My Quang. Mi Quang is served with lime, green chilies and rice cracker, which enhance its taste.
